Drummore Village

Situated on the coast of Luce Bay at the southern end of the Rhins of Galloway, Drummore is the southernmost village in Scotland. Being on the west coast of Scotland, and drawing in the warm air of the Gulf Stream, Drummore seems to have it’s own micro-climate enjoying mild conditions all year round. It has two sandy beaches and its own harbour as well as picnic area, public toilets and free carparking. It also has a bowling green and tennis courts.

If you fancy a walk then why not take a lazy stroll along the Rhins of Galloway Coastal Path. Just a few minutes drive from the village, you can visit the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse with its café and RSPB visitors centre with views of some of the most stunning coastal cliffs in the world and vies of the great Luce Bay. On a good day you can clearly see the Isle of Man and Ireland

Drummore is a lovely harbour fishing village with an excellent shop/Post Office which sells just about anything you can imagine. The village also has its own Doctor’s surgery, Fire Station, Coastguard, and it’s own Primary School, Nursery, tennis courts, and play ground.

If you fancy a pint or a relaxing gin & tonic, Drummore has three great pubs; The Clash Whannon, which serves great food and has its own caravan park. The Ship Inn, with its fine home cooking and sea views, and The Queens pub situated in the heart of the village.
